Something else

Oh and this a.m. when we walked down to breakfast.  I kept saying good morning to the hotel staff and Meiying walked behind me saying, in english, "Good morning, how are you today?" with a big smile.  It was very cute!

I read your blog a couple of days ago, and am so glad that things are going better. We have 4 adopted children. One of them was adopted at 7 years old. It just takes time with an oder adoptee.

You daughter is beautiful.

Blessings,
Sarah

So glad to see that you are steadily turning some major corners. I'm sure there will still be several moments ahead that are difficult at best, but I know that you will make it through them, as you've already endured some of the toughest moments in the days past. It's wonderful to see that smile on her face and to hear how she is doing. I love that she was 'bargaining' in the shops with you...too cute! :) And how adorable was that when she said 'Good morning...' in English to the hotel staff!?! You have done so well with her on your own, and I know you will have many beautiful days in your future. I so appreciate your candidness with what has happened and how she has outright grieved in her own ways, and made no secret of it. So many blogs are filled with a bunch of "fluff" and while that sounds all nice, it's better to be prepared, and then pleasantly surprised should things go differently. I think you've done a wonderful job and I can't wait to see what your future holds with your BEAUTIFUL daughter! She is as pretty as can be!! :)

Have a blessed week! <><
