Enjoying a morning coffee, Clifford on in the background capturing Eliza's attention, and hitting "replay" over and over again just to hear Ava Meiying's sweet voice (thru all the other voices on the video) saying "mama, daddy and thank you".

This is truly a gift to me and I hope when Ava is older, it will be a gift to her as well.

I love how girly she appears to be in all the photos, the pink dress, pink shirts; her report said that she loves beautiful things, loves wearing beautiful things and likes to change her hairstyle each day telling her mama "1 tail today, I wore 2 tails yesterday"...

I think that she and I are going to enjoy each other since that's just how I was as a girl. (There's been a long told story in my family about all my siblings being outside shoveling snow for an hour while I was in the house fixing my hair, makeup and picking out the matching hat, scarf, mittens just to come out and shovel snow. Now, I've matured quite a bit living on a farm, and it's now a rare treat to get dressed up and put make up on!)

Thank you so much, Kirsten, for sending me this video this morning! I absolutely can't wait to meet my beautiful little girl.

that is so great !! We got some of Matthew before we traveled about 8 motnhs earlier and it really helped to make him real.. I am so excited for you and can't wait to follow your journey home!! Yes she looks adorable and I imagine it will be hard on her to leave her foster family. Matthew just experienced more grief recently on his anniversary forever family day

We are hoping to adopt one more and just got our homestudy updated and our visa extended and are scheduled for fingerprints.... Don't know who she is or when she will show up in our lives... but David turns 55 in two years and our visa will expire in 18 months so... we wait and see God's hand All I feel is she is 5-7 years old from Guangxi and has a mild sn

So very special and sweet your little Ava is. I imagine that you are just giddy with excitement and having trouble "turning your mind off" to get sleep at night.... This is how I will be I am sure. Once you've seen your child's face, you just want to get them, protect them, nurture them, and love them as soon as you possibly can!! Hang in there ..it must feel like 100's of years away but you will be in China hugging your new addition so very soon. This time, though difficult, perhaps is God's way of helping Ava prepare herself for the transitions ahead. I believe that her heart will be so ready to join your family!!
